As usual, I am always late posting an entry in my blog. This activity was our activity last week. Every year, I always look for Kadayawan's Activities and the highlight of Kadayawan this year: Floral Float is kind of disappointing. Why? There were only few participants unlike the past year's Floral Float. SM, Chowking and NCCC Mall float enties are the participants I look forward to.
Since there were only few wonderful floats we'd seen in the parade, we hesitated if we are still going to SM to watch the exhibit of the floats but we still went to SM..hehe.. Besides Rona needs pictures of the activities for her assignment. ^^
Unexpectedly, there were many activities awaits for us. In Entertainment Plaza, there was the exhibit of Moda Mindanaw. It showcases the costumes and some floral arrangements made by I don't know. hahaha! I was kind of amaze on the custom slippers that was displayed there. Amazing! ^^
After that we went to Parking Lot C (hehe) to watch the exhibit of the floats. Well, even the weather is hot, many Dabawenyos still enjoy the exhibit. I was surpised knowing that one of the wonderful floats is an entry from Concentrix. I remembered that their entry last year is not as good as this year. Sul orchids is very consistent when it comes to this competition. They were always in the top 3 ranking of this competition. These two entries were the floats that stands out. ^^ Hmm..,I really like Samsung's entry last year than this year. I think the idea of the float is recycle, nothing's new.
Our last destination for that day is the horticulture exhibit. It is not free but with just php10 entrance, it is all worth it. ^^
